PSA – Cheddar Goldfish vs. Baby Cheddar Goldfish – Same Taste -> One is a Better Value

I’ve been a huge fan of Cheddar Goldfish ever since middle school.  Something about that specific subtle blend of cheese and crackers gives them an addicting quality that is unmatched (Sorry Cheez-It aficionados).  Just recently I was strolling down my local grocery store isle, deciding if I wanted to buy a whole gallon-sized box to decrease my cost per serving, but also knowing I was risking a higher chance of Sunday night binge-eating without running out, and I noticed there was a sale on Baby Cheddar Goldfish.

Generally my eyes go right past the Baby Cheddar because honestly, I didn’t care about a smaller sized cracker if they taste the same.  Picking the bag up to give it a once-over and low and behold, this whole time I never realized that Baby Cheddar Goldfish have more servings and have more oz/grams per bag than the standard Cheddar Goldfish for the same price!

As you can plainly see in the picture, the Baby Cheddar Goldfish have additional 0.6 oz / 17g than the standard Cheddar Goldfish.  I have no idea why this would be the case as companies generally always try to decrease volumes while maintaining prices to boost margins once they can’t grow unit sales anymore, but here we have a case where Pepperidge Farm came out with a new product variant that actually has more product for the same money!  Moral of the story, might was well go with the Baby Cheddar Goldfish from now on.

  1. I’ve been browsing online greater than three hours nowadays, but I by no means found any
    attention-grabbing article like yours. It
is lovely value enough for me. In my view, if all website owners and bloggers made just right content material as you probably did, the web can be
a lot more useful than ever before.
